I don't know why this wouldnt let me post my review before but I recently ordered this computer and love the look it's qui k speed and that I can tell its endurance has already been tested! I have a roommate wih the same. Imputed and still loves and uses it seven years later! I was extremely impressed that it came so quick! I paid regular delivery so wasn't expe ting it until later on. It it. And practically the next day! Will definitely purchase from seller again and apple based on my own experience.
The laptop is not half bad. It's the first mac I've ever used, so it took a couple of days to get the hang out it. It's relatively easy to use and I can see why mac user prefer it over Windows. It does get a little hot though. The memory is small so flash videos don't play smoothly, but I hear you can upgrade the memory somehow.
the used i book we purchased was a great bargain. we are VERY satisfied with our purchase.
This computer is my new best friend. You don't even understand :o I've always been a Mac person but thought they'd be too expensive. When I learned about the iBook I thought it'd be old and obsolete, but it is not whatsoever.
My daughter loves this computer. She stays on it about 4 hours a day. It has everything she needs. I had a problem with the plug and sent MechaTek an e-mail on 4/16/11. They sent me an e-mail on 4/18/11 and they are shipping a new one out today 4/18/11 because it's still under the 90-day warranty. I recommend buying from MechaTek because of their excellent customer service and quality of product.
The gentlemen at this company were very responsive and consistent. I called them 100x to track the package and the same few guys kept answering which gave me confidence as a consumer. The condition of the product was good especially for a 5 year old computer, definitely a great buy. This computer was even good enough to update the software to the latest 10,6.8. The cherry on-top is the 60 day warranty on the computer, battery and charger. All-in-all if your just looking for a good condition-inexpensive mac to get all your work done on then this is definitely for you.I highly recommend for all who shy away from the expensive contemporary pricetags of a mac.
