I've only had it for a few days, but it is fast! Boots up very quickly and is able to process anything I throw at it right now. I haven't had a chance to load up severe memory hogs yet, but I anticipate that it will be able to handle it.I bought a 4GB RAM stick as an upgrade thinking that I'd have 1 available slot with the 4GB RAM that it comes with....wrong. Pretty sure I read somewhere that one port was open, but sure enough when I opened the hatch cover there were 2 x 2GB RAM sticks. So instead of 8GB, I only have 6GB for now...My one and only complaint so far.
We love this Computer. I love it. Just the right size. Has everything I needed. Great computer would highly recommend it.
I've had the computer a couple of months now. It's operating perfectly. I can recommend it highly and without reservation.
Two out of three USB ports were not working. The seller wants us to return the laptop in the original box as they said otherwise Toshiba won't accept it. We recycled the original box as we did not think we would need it. So we called Toshiba sure that it's just a misunderstanding and they will happily take a malfunctioning product of theirs. Toshiba said it's your problem, deal with the seller you bought the product from. The attitude is disheartening and I'd say with so much competition in the market, avoid companies that do not stand behind their products.
My only complaint is not having a back lit keyboard...thats why its a 4 star and not a 5....havent installed photoshop yet so im not sure if i will expand the ram but so far so good
